Reserve Unit Helps Strengthen CNRH’s Hurricane Readiness

JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii — After months of severe weather that brought destructive storms, flooding and repeated pressure on communities across Hawaii, Navy Region Hawaii is reinforcing hurricane readiness, supported in part by the reserve Sailors of the Regional Operations Center (ROC) under Navy Cmdr. Jason Afong’s leadership.
